CDT GOLD Series extended midrange woofers: The top woofers in the new EuroSport CDT GOLD range are the 4" Model: ES-04 and the ES-62iM". These fabulously smooth, keval mixed fiberglass fabric, black coned beauties extract all the music and add no coloration to that sound. They start and stop on a dime for the most lucid recreation of the musical experience. From rap to rock they are on top, and the rendering of serious classical profundities is also exquisite. Utilizing a rubber edge and soft polymer dust-cap these drivers create and absorb vibratory waves with astonishing control.

A magnetic system utilizing a shorting ring above the pole piece lowers modulation distortion to new lows. The smaller ES-04 has amazing bass control for a compact 4" mid-woofer. The Fs of nearly 60 Hz gives marvelous extension in compact situations. This driver can reach nearly 10 kHz when run full range also. As a rear-fill and accent "front" fill speaker in this mode it is also ideal. A great four for any door and kick pod install. Possibly the best four inch mid-woofer for general use in existence. The larger Model: ES-62iM has the smoothest response imaginable from a larger speaker. You lose nothing in smoothness by going up to this 6.5-inch speaker. With its easy mid-bass punch its size assures the sound has that authority audiophiles crave. It’s narrow depth of only 1.9” makes it fit in almost any vehicle.

This driver use a dual fabric mix Kevlar /fiberglass cone, a new inverted magnet design much stronger than standard ferrite magnet structures normally used in 6.5” drivers. It has a power full large 38mm voice coil which makes this driver also handle allot of power for user who like to turn the volume up from time to time. The result is astounding naturalness and precision. The measurements show smooth extension and glitch-free roll-off. The modular soft dome Euro tweeter (available in Silk- Aluminum- Titanium). It ship standard with the silk dome which has the classic dome shape and an ultra smooth response shape. This tweeter with its excellent power handling ability is further cultured by the matching crossover that corrects the smoothly sloped response shape and corrects that shape. More>>
